Since the last time Lebron James wore a Cavaliers jersey there has been much hype surrounding the 2011 postseason which just started last week. Most basketball fans will agree that the East was very competitive this year and the NBA Champion will likely come from one of its playoffs entries. As a loyal Knick fan I am deeply saddened by our 1st round lost in four straight games without a victory to the Celtics, but I realize that we have a solid foundation to make run for the “ship” very soon. With my team now home I’ll admit that I don’t have a clear cut favorite so long as the Lakers do not win it all. I feel the top seeds in the East all have a good shot at making the finals. We learned from the Cavs during the past few years that having the best regular season record doesn’t guarantee you a ring so Bulls fans hold tight. I am just excited to see the NBA with an influx of good teams this year despite all the financial moves that were made to make monopolies. A good finals matchup to watch would be the OKC Thunder vs. Miami Heat (so the haters can get off Lebron’s back). I think the Celtics just may be too old to run with the youthful thunder.
